GMP certificate Norit Klazienaveen
Norit Activated Carbon has received a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certificate for the Klazienaveen production facility in November 2007. After inspection conducted by the Dutch Health Care Inspectorate, the Klazienaveen based production facility of Norit Activated Carbon received a certification for GMP. The GMP certificate was received on 5 November 2007 based on positive inspection results. The Dutch Health Care Inspectorate is the competent Dutch authority which inspects and qualifies manufacturers of medicines and active substances who should apply to the GMP guidelines. GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practices which is a term that is recognized in the pharmaceutical industry to ensure quality assurance in the development, manufacture and control of medicinal products. For Norit Activated Carbon, as producer of active substances which are used in medicinal products, the GMP-guidelines are intended to provide guidance regarding Good Manufacturing Practice for the manufacturing of active substances under an appropriate system for managing quality. The GMP guidelines are also intended to help ensure that the active substances meet the requirements for quality and purity that they purport or are represented to possess. The GMP certificate is the proof that Norit Activated Carbon meets the highest quality standards. The GMP certificate is available on request. 01-12-2007 |
